Alletta married Irving Hopkins and Addie married Andrew J. Hopkins. Both families from Jacob^4 on down remained in a relatively small geographical area on Long Island (Wolver Hollow, E. Norwich, Hempstead, North Hempstead).

Brooklyn Eagle 25 Sept 1900, page 11. Death of Peter Van Wicklen. Oyster Bay, L.I., September 24 - The death of Peter Van Wicklen occurred at Jones' Institute last Saturday. He was the son of Peter Van Wicklen who was at one time collector of the town. The deceased had also held the same position. He was honest and straightforward and leaves many friends. The interment was at Brookville Cemetery.
